Helping People Move: My Passion for Fitness and Real Estate

Being a fitness instructor and a real estate agent might seem worlds apart-but for me, both are rooted in the same passion: helping people reach meaningful goals.

In the gym, that might mean mastering squats or breaking through mental barriers. Some of my proudest moments include training clients to step onstage for the first time as Bikini Competitors, forming a women’s triathlon training team, and, most importantly, helping someone stand from the floor without using their hands for the first time since their stroke.

In real estate, I guide clients through bidding strategies and the emotional journey of finding a home. Helping a family bursting at the seams in their current home-but unsure if they could take the next step-and assisting a VA client with a tight budget who had been outbid repeatedly finally land a winning offer gives me that same incredible satisfaction.

Both roles rely on trust-building: learning clients’ stories, checking in on progress, and celebrating milestones.

Building trust is like mastering a new playlist for class-it takes rhythm, attention, and a bit of flair. In fitness, it means showing up early, prepping the equipment just right, and calling everyone by name:

“Let’s crush it today, Sarah!”
“Way to hit 500 Ride, Alex!”

Those little touches keep people coming back-not just for the reps, but because they feel seen, appreciated… and maybe a little bit hyped by a great playlist.

In real estate, it’s the same vibe-but with houses instead of workouts. It starts with active listening and asking clarifying questions. Maybe someone mentions they need a home office, and instead of showing generic listings, you round up properties with built-in desk nooks. If they have a fur-baby, only fully fenced yards will do! That attention to detail builds trust. A quick text like,

“I just found a new listing with that mother-in-law ADU you mentioned!”
shows you're thinking of them. Those thoughtful touches turn a one-time tour (or first-time gym attendee) into a client-or even better, a friend.

I’m truly passionate about both fitness and real estate because, at heart, I get to help people-physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially. I love the energy when someone finally activates a muscle correctly in the studio, just as much as I cherish the moment I hand over keys to someone entering their first home. It’s all about moving people—whether it’s their bodies, their lives, or their dreams.

If you’re ready to move, in any sense of the word-reach out. I’d be honored to guide you on that journey. Let’s make your next move the best one yet!
