Why I Chose Esthetics and Real Estate as Multiple Streams of Income
As someone who wears two hats—esthetician and realtor—I often get asked: “Why both?” At first glance, they may seem like completely different worlds, but to me, they complement each other perfectly. Both industries allow me to pour into people, build relationships, and create the kind of life I want for myself and my family.
Building Multiple Streams of Income
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that relying on just one source of income can limit both opportunity and stability. Esthetics allows me to provide a personal service that directly impacts clients’ confidence and well-being, while real estate opens the door to long-term financial growth and wealth building. Together, they give me the best of both worlds—immediate income and future investment potential.
The Power of Flexibility
As a business owner in esthetics, I have the freedom to set my own schedule. I can be there for my family when they need me most, and I can create a client experience that reflects my own values and vision. Real estate offers similar flexibility. My “office” is often wherever my phone and laptop are, which means I can adjust my day around school drop-offs, family activities, or simply taking time for myself.
This flexibility is one of the greatest gifts. It means I don’t have to choose between being present for my family and pursuing a thriving career—I can do both.
Lifestyle and Legacy
For me, esthetics is about connection and confidence. Real estate is about security and legacy. Combining these two paths allows me to design a lifestyle that’s not only fulfilling now but sustainable in the future. It’s not about being “busy,” but about being intentional with my time and energy.
Multiple streams of income give families options—options to travel, invest, spend more time together, or simply breathe a little easier. And at the heart of it, that’s why I chose this path: to create freedom, flexibility, and opportunities for myself and those I love.
